Hi, I’m Demi Grabowski!
And welcome to my blog! I’m genuinely SO happy you’re here!
I’m a wife, mom, sister, daughter, and a lover of Christ. When I’m not spending time with my family, I work part time as a nurse and truly love my job. While I find that my life is fulfilling in so many ways, there has always been a part of me that yearns to write. I actually entered into my college years with the intention of becoming a writer. But after year 1 of majoring in journalism, I realized that particular career path wasn’t for me. I felt like the Lord was calling me to pursue a career in nursing. So, I listened, and He was right (of course!). And while taking care of people was quite obviously the calling for my career, my urge to write has always been there.
My heart behind this blog is to share my testimony to those who are willing to listen. While I have been a Christian all of my life, I didn’t truly experience the love of Jesus until I was 21 years old. And since that moment, I’ve felt this internal urge to share my story. While I don’t think my story is necessarily a unique one, I feel like its incredibly relatable! I have experienced some really high highs and some very low lows, and its in those lows where the Lord chose to show me His grace and His love. It is in those valleys where I feel like the Lord redeemed those particular situations and produced abundant light and life. And it’s those stories that I’m feeling called to share with the world!
My prayer is that this blog will bring even just the tiniest bit of hope to those who land here. That you will be reminded that God is always with you and always working for your good, even if you can’t see anything but darkness in your current situation. Because, in my experience, it isn’t until after you’ve climbed the mountain that you can look back and get the perspective you need to appreciate the journey it took for you to make it to the top. Even if that journey was brutal and ugly and heartbreaking. So please join me as I enter into a new chapter of my life. I hope you enjoy it! :)
